An Overview of the School
Giri / Wickramashila National School is a government school in the North Western Province situated in Giriulla Education zone, Kurunegala District. It is a semi urban, mixed school. Students learn in both Sinhala and English medium. There are classes from grade 1-13. The secondary section of the school is surrounded by a beautiful mountain range, a huge rock and a river called "Ma Oya", a very beautiful setting. Our school aim is to build up fully competent, good citizens who value and protect the dignity and culture of Sri Lanka.
