Currently, Giriulla Wickramashila National School, which has a reputation in this country, is a national school that inherits a short history of about 40 years. It is a matter of pride that the school has been able to show outstanding talents in every field of art, literature and sports, not only academically, since its inception. The responsibility of shouldering the task of keeping Wikramashila in a special place in the current Sri Lankan system is assigned to every group of school leaders, Teachers, Students, parents, former students and all non-academic staff members. It must be stated that the equal commitment of all those parties was absolutely helpful for the advancement of this school. Also, I am very proud to join the administration of Giriulla Wickramashila National School. It is the hope of all of us to make Wickramashila National School one of the top national schools in the island with excellent education, high level facilities and all achievements based on the strength of the school community. Also, I hope that students of  Wickramashila National School will be brought to a higher level in the society and will become an optimistic thinker who can overcome the challenges of the future and appreciate the values ​​of peaceful coexistence.
